To stretch or not to stretch?

You should always stretch before a work-out right?  Most of us were taught that stretching is a must  pre-exercise.

But does all this bending and reaching and (almost?) toe touching actually help?  No simple answer to this one but here’s a helpful article from Alexandra Sifferlin () at Time Magazine that reviews some of the evidence and will help you make a more informed decision about your own routine.
